Ostap started to study chess in 2016 in a school chess class with his first trainer Oleg Korchagin. In 2017 he continued his studies at “Tallinn“ chess club under the guidance of trainer Aleksandr Dusman. Starting from 2018 Ostap is a member of A. Alekhine chess club in Pushkin, Russia. He studies under the guidance of trainer Tatjana Korbut. In Estonian tournaments Ostap repsents  "Vector" chess club since 2020.

Arina started playing chess in 2018 in a school club, and just 4 months later she took a prize at a tournament in the capital of Cyprus. Since then, her interest in the game has only grown.

Arina is a regular participant and winner of children's chess tournaments. She trains under the guidance of Larisa Sokolova (head coach), Vadim Vasilenko and Vera Prokoput. Arina represents our club at competitions in Estonia since 2024.
